I started this blog as a way of sharing my discoveries in the world of health and wellness, which in turn were largely informed by my degree in health psychology. Things I muse/write about: food (obvs), fitness, health and wellbeing and its broader relationship to community health and society (this isn’t a political blog as such, but I don’t shy away from topics that touch on neoliberal conceptions of health and the ickier side of food politics, among other things.. *gets her soap box at the ready* 😉 ).

In the words of Julie Andrews, these are a few of my favourite things: tea, jumpers (especially the ugly sweater variety), food (duh), cats (double duh), Disney songs, tattoos and chocolate. All these things will also likely make an appearance on this blog (if they haven’t done so already).

More stuff:

My writing was featured on Freshly Pressed! Thanks dudes.

I like taking pictures. You can find some here.

All the doodles you see on this here blog were drawn by me, so if you would like to use any (as long as it’s not for commercial purposes) alls I ask is that you link back/credit me, k? Thx.

  1. Hi! Your About page is so good, you’ve given me more of a nudge to update mine. ha! I’m loving your funny diagram and ‘eating animals’ is what convinced me to go from pescatarian to full-blown vegetarian 🙂

  2. Hi there!

I have a quick question about your blog. Could you please email me when you get a chance? Thank you!
